The Tight Stitch is a small business run by one person with another job. Please be patient should I not get to you right away. If you have not heard back from me within 3 business days feel free to send another email. 

Do you ship outside the UK? 

For the time being I do not, unfortunately. My goal is to be able to sell in Europe in the future but Brexit and other EU VAT changes have made the process more complicated (and costly) for small businesses. It is something I am researching and seeing how we can legally do so. 

Can you combine two orders?

Yes, as long as neither of them have been dispatched. Just let me know as soon as possible and I will refund any extra shipping charges.

I put the wrong address, what can I do?

If the order has not been dispatched I can change the shipping label not a problem. If it has already been dispatched I can’t refund the order due to customer error.

When will my order ship?

Processing time of 1-2 business days, Monday - Friday. The processing time could be longer during peak holiday seasons but I will make sure to communicate any changes.

My order arrived late, can I get a refund on my shipping?

Should I misprint the label and ship your order incorrectly, 100% yes! However I am not responsible if the carrier experiences delays with your order, especially during peak seasons. Should an order not arrive at all please see question below.

My order is lost, what can I do?

My policies on this mirror Royal Mail as they are the courier TTSC uses. Should an order not make it to you at the correct address after 10 working days after the expected due date please contact Royal Mail with your details. Once they confirm that your order has indeed been lost I can refund you for the missing order. 

Can I return my order?

Should you be unhappy with your order or any parts of it, you are able to return it for a refund within 14 days of delivery. Returns are at your own expense, unless you receive an incorrect or damaged order. Yarn must be in original packaging and new condition. Should products return without their original packaging and not in new condition a full refund will not be issued. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Clearance items, gift cards and downloadable items are non-refundable. If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. I cannot refund orders that I never received.

What kind of packaging do you use?

I try to be as eco-friendly as possible. I will mostly use cardboards boxes made from recycled materials, any colored boxes are dyed with water-based inks. The fluff I use to keep products safe is also sourced from recycled materials, while the black color is from vegan food dye. If you see areas where I could improve please don’t hesitate to contact me as I would love to look into better ways to ship our products.

Furls Fiberarts

The Tight Stitch Co. is an official Furls Fiberarts RetailerFurls Fiberarts policies apply to their products sold at TTSC. Should a hook break during normal use, while crocheting, you are entitled to a replacement. Should I not have an adequate replacement you may receive a gift card or refund. If a hook falls or is dropped and breaks, gets sat on, or breaks in any way besides during normal use then I cannot replace it. These are Furls policies. Should a hook arrive broken, damaged, or faulty you are entitled to a replacement, gift card, or refund. Should you be unhappy with your Furls hooks you can return them for a refund within 90 days. Hooks must be posted back in a box and arrive in new condition. DO NOT RETURN IN PADDED ENVELOPES. If hooks arrive broken in a padded envelope I cannot issue a refund.
